Medieval melodrama in aid of Hospice
Eleanore of Aquitaine ‘L’Enigma’, a medieval melodrama plus a minstrel with lute, is to be performed by Nonsuch Players at the Carmelite Priory in Mdina from Friday 6 till Sunday 8 November starting at 8pm. All proceeds from this event will go towards The Malta Hospice Movement.

Set in 1173 in a castle in France we watch as Queen Eleanore, who has plotted the overthrow of her husband The Plantagenet Henry II, is discovered. The love triangle between these two characters and the French King Louis VII, her first husband, make for entertaining theatre.

Tickets, against a donation of EUR10, may be obtained from The Malta Hospice Movement, 39, Good Shepherd Ave, Balzan, BZN 1623, tel: 21440085, e-mail: frhospice@onvol.net or at the door subject to availability.
